Kotor, Montenegro

Montenegro is Europe's youngest country - but has some of Europe's oldest settlements.  Kotor is about 500 years old - it's located way up on the northern end of what is the southernmost fiord in Europe.  Sailing our relatively large ship (1,250 passengers) through some of the narrow straits was pretty impressive.... turning this thing around and aiming in in the right direction to head out was even more so.  Below is a pic of the ship docked at Kotor, along with a few pics of the surrounding area - and OMG  we saw a huge shark!!!

  2. Colleen - please. Look a little closer at that "shark". It's made of polystyrene. Still, it's weird even having a FAKE one there...!
