July 15 - 8AM  Jeff is sound asleep - still getting his clock adjusted, so I went out this morning before the temperature started climbing  (97 yesterday, probably the same today)... walked around the neighborhood where our hotel (St. Regis) is located... snapped a few shots.  The Romans definitely like to add flourishes to their buildings.

Spoke too soon about the homeless situation - I think it was so hot yesterday everybody took cover; this was taken from our hotel window... however, these men may be refugees from north Africa....?
